Aura was born to deliver to humanity the essential minerals that make the world innovate, create and prosper. And it is through our employees that all this is possible. This team of people oriented towards sustainable results, guided by values, practices and behaviors that put People first. Thus, we guarantee health, well-being and safety in a work environment that encourages development and enhances the best of everyone.

The Aura 360 culture is what unites us all. A broad and careful look at the impacts and benefits of everything we do, firstly on our employees, communities and the environment and, finally, on the company itself. With it, we have the right people in the right places, making the evolution of our sustainable growth plan possible.

We want to be a mining company recognized for trust, responsibility, respect and result-orientedness. We are in full growth, counting on the plurality of talents from different areas of knowledge so that, together, we can deliver VALUE to our audiences.

See what our people say about Aura:

Rogelio Herrera Flores

Production Planning and Control Superintendent (PCP).

My journey at Aura Minosa started in 2009 working as a Maintenance Planner, which allowed me to discover the mining industry. In 2010 I had the opportunity to hold the position of Development and Operations Management Supervisor, managing to integrate my maintenance experience with production and cost analysis. During this time, the management and control of costs, budgets, reports of results in terms of production and costs were added to my responsibilities, achieving in 2021 a promotion to Superintendent of Planning and Production Control (PCP).

I have been part of the Aura MINOSA family for 13 years and I am proud to belong to a company that supports the professional and personal growth of its employees, focusing their development on the fundamental pillars of people, communities, the environment and business.

María Romana Gutiérrez Mendonza

Control Room Operator

I started at Aura Aranzazu on March 19th, 2019 in the cleaning area. After finishing my daily duties, I took the time to learn from a colleague the activities of the Control Room. Then, I had the opportunity to become a Control Room Operator. It was a great achievement for me and, little by little, I became more familiar with the new activity. It's spectacular to see what you can learn from new processes.
For me, working at Aura is a great satisfaction, because we have the opportunity for growth. It fulfills me with pride to see that women we are more and more active in strategic jobs function in the mining industry.
I thank everyone who helped me learn and grow in my new area of expertise.

Gender inclusion is an agenda that must be constant in all segments and, within mining, we understand that there is still much to be done. With that in mind, Aura joined forces with several organizations to create an active structure, with the aim of creating an active structure committed to the inclusion of women in mining. That’s why we are signatories to Woman in Mining. Aura is a signatory of the Women in Mining movement in Brazil, Honduras and Mexico.
