Bruno is a Public Administration graduate by FGV/EAESP and holds a CFA certificate. He was inducted into Aura’s board of directors in October 2020. He is a Kapitalo partner responsible for stock investment strategies since 2015 and a member of the Executive Committee since 2019. He started his career in 2005, in Patria Investments as a stock analyst, becoming portfolio manager in 2010, responsible for long & short and long only strategies. In 2013, he entered Ashmore Group as a member of the Investment Committee and manager of the stock strategy portfolio.

Fabio was named a member of the Board early in 2020. He has 20 years of experience in bridging positions between business and technology. He led several teams in the early days of the Internet, helping the pioneer ISP of Brazil, iG, founded and dropped a successful business in the aviation industry called SOL, and started Neptuno company in 2005 – a multi-strategy fund focused in technology investment and forward thinking. Over the last years, Fabio took Neptuno into the VC space with a clear vision of empowering executives working on the convergence of exponential technologies. In 2019, Fabi co-founded TUZ Ventures – a technology VC fund in an early stage, focused in Central Asia. Fabio has a bachelor’s degree at FAAP, Sao Paulo, a master’s in economics at Bocconi, Milan, and a masters in media/interactive games design at the University of Miami. Today, Fabio also acts at the boards of the Miami Institute of Data and Computer Science and the University of Miami School of Communications. Curiously, Fabio is a certified plane and helicopter pilot.

Paulo Brito was appointed non-executive Chairman of the Board in May 2016. He is a businessman with more than 45 years of experience in mining, energy and agriculture. He has worked extensively in and outside Brazil, including most of Latin America, and has founded several companies, including Cotia Trading. SA (commercial company), Mineração Santa Elina (mining company focused on the development, exploration and research of various minerals) and Biopalma da Amazônia (palm oil producing company).

Paulo is CEO of Mineração Santa Elina Indústria e Comércio, a company that operates in the mineral sector, in the development and operation of assets, both in Brazil and in South America. He is also Director of Quanta Geração, a company that operates in the generation and commercialization of energy with solar plants and small hydroelectric plants installed in the states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors at Sertrading, a company specialized in the trading business. In the third sector, he is on the board of MIS (Museum of Image and Sound).

Pedro was appointed in July 2022. He is currently Vice President of Copa Energia and leads operations and strategy for the largest LPG distributor in Latin America. He is also responsible for the strategy of Rede Matogrossense de Comunicação, a media group that operates television channels, radio stations and websites in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. Pedro holds a law degree from PUC-SP and an MBA from Columbia School of Business, in New York.

Richmond is a Mining Engineer, graduated from University of Arizona. He brings to Aura his 39 years of experience in base and precious metals, with a vast experience in mines, mines development and evaluation, maintenance and operations in South and North America, Africa and Papua New Guinea. Before entering Aura, he was Executive General Manager of the Pueblo Viejo mine in the Dominican Republic, one of the world’s largest gold producing mines. Earlier in his career, held positions of increasing responsibility in Freeport McMoRan, Glencore e Barrick Gold.

Stephen was named a member of the company’s board in August 2011. He has worked on projects in over 30 countries, with a focus on Latin America. He has over 12 years of experience working with mining and energy companies, leading projects through feasibility studies, engineering design, project management and construction. Keith is currently the President of GrowMax Resources Corp., a company focused on the exploration and development of phosphate and potassium rich brine resources. Previously, he was managing director of Fertoz Ltd., president and CEO of Recife Gold and founder and president and CEO of Rio Verde Minerals Development Corp. In addition, he led Rio Verde until its acquisition by B&A Fertilizers Limited on March 13, 2013. He was also Vice President of Corporate Development at Plutonic Power Corporation, Director of Investment Banking at Thomas Wiesel Partners, Vice President of Investment Banking Westwind Partners Mining Group investment and Technical Services Manager at Knight Piesold Consulting. He holds a BA in Applied Science from Queen’s University, an international MBA from York University, Schulich School of Business, and a PEng from Ontario and British Columbia.

Previously, he was CEO of Tavex/Santista, where he led a well succeeded strategic, financial, marketing and operational recovery. Before that, he was CFO of the investment holding Grupo Camargo Correa, one of the largest conglomerates in Brazil and parent company of Tavex/Santista. Rodrigo served as a board member of the main public infrastructure companies in Brazil and worked as an investment analyst for BBA Creditanstalt also in Brazil (currently Banco Itaú). In North America, he has previously worked in Potash Corporation.

Kleber is an Economist from Unicamp and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Finance, Strategy and International Businesses. He joined Aura in March 2019. Prior to joining Aura, he was CFO of Santista, a large jeans manufacturer with operations in Brazil and Argentina. Previously, he worked at Mover Participações, one of the largest conglomerates in Brazil, and was involved in M&A projects. Kleber has also worked in the management consulting sector for A.T. Kearney and Accenture, in a variety of industries and projects.

Glauber is a Mining Engineer, graduated from the Federal University of Ouro Preto and completed his studies in the executive program of the Queen’s University – Smith School of Business in Canada. He joined Aura in April 2018. He has strong technical knowledge, mainly in operations underground, where he has worked for most of his 13 years of experience in the mining sector. Prior to joining Aura, he served as Vice President of Operations for BrioGold Inc. and held management positions at Yamana Gold Inc. and AngloGold Ashanti.

Richard is a Mechanical Engineer from FEI (Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial), with an MBA in Administration from FGV and additional international training, having attended institutions such as Stanford and KISDI in Korea. He is an executive with 20 years of experience in strategy deployment, governance, organizational design, operational excellence, performance system design and tracking, PMO – Project Management, and Innovation, having worked at companies like FGV, Yamana Gold, Bosch, and Goldratt. He joined Aura in 2018 as Head of Performance and Operational Excellence in Aranzazu, Mexico.

Isabela Dumont holds a degree in Psychology from FUMEC with Specialization in People Management and certifications in executive coaching and change management. She is a professional with over 15 years of experience, having worked in the mining, consulting, internet products and services sectors, with stints at Google and AngloGold Ashanti. She has solid experience in leading projects for cultural consolidation, talent management, diversity, performance, and social development. She joined Aura as People and Culture Manager in 2023 and recently assumed the position of Head of People, ESG, and Communication.

Pitágoras is a mining executive professional, graduated in Electrical Engineering. He joined Aura in January 2022 and has strong management and technical knowledge, in all phases of mining projects development, from studies to Ramp-up in Gold and Rare Earth Projects, acquired during his 19 years working in engineering and mining companies. Prior to joining Aura, he served as Project and Operations Director in SVPM and held management positions at Yamana Gold Inc. and Great Panther Mining.

Henrique is a Metallurgical Engineer, from the Federal University of Ouro Preto, with complementary studies at Fundação Dom Cabral. He has over 15 years of experience in the mining sector. He joined Aura in December 2018 as Plant Manager and was responsible for the entire industrial operation at Aranzazu, taking the plant’s ramp up to its full capacity and to the growth of recovery of gold and copper to feasibility study levels. Prior to joining Aura, he worked as General Manager at the Pilar mine, part of BrioGold Inc. and held management positions at Yamana Gold Inc. and AngloGold Ashanti.

He has held technical and managerial positions in large corporations such as Samarco, AngloGold Ashanti and Nexa Resources Peru. In his role as a leader, Fred seeks to foster a collaborative environment, where there is delegation and team empowerment.

Wilton is a Civil Engineer, graduated from UFOP and with an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He has been working in the Mining Industry for over 16 years, both in projects and in operations. As a service provider, he worked for companies such as Kinross and Votorantim Metais (now Nexa). Mr. Muricy also held different management positions at Yamana Gold for 10 years. He has been with Aura Minerals since June 2018, where he joined as a Senior Project Manager, having worked on the Aranzazu reboot in Mexico and supporting Sustaining Projects at Apoena in Brazil and Minosa in Honduras. Among his most recent responsibilities are the engineering and technical-economic feasibility studies of the Greenfield Almas and Matupá Projects, as well as leading operations at Minosa, Honduras, prior to taking on the role of Director of Operations at Aranzazu.

With extensive experience in the gold mining sector, he has held strategic positions in companies such as Yamana, Leagold, and Equinox. As a leader, he prioritizes collaboration and the well-being of his team, always striving for efficiency and innovative solutions to tackle business challenges, with a constant commitment to continuous improvement and achieving organizational objectives.

He joined Aura in 2021 as Technical Services Manager in Aranzazu. With 17 years of experience in the mining sector, he has worked in both underground and open-pit operations in the cement and base metals industries. He has experience in management roles at Yamana Gold, Lundin Mining, and Vale.

Carlos holds a degree in Mining Engineering and a master’s in Mineral Technology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and he has an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral. His career spans various commodities, including niobium, iron, and lithium, with a professional background in companies such as CBMM, Vale, and Sigma Lithium. Throughout his career, he has held technical and leadership roles in exploration, projects, processes, and operations.
